Reclaim the Gospel Narrative!

The world, as we know it, is not how God created it to be. We messed everything up, but Jesus fixed it for us.
And, when we join together in his community of faith, we are on the way to a happiness that lasts forever.
“I believe and profess all that the holy Catholic Church believes, teaches, and proclaims to be revealed by God.”
“This is our faith. This is the faith of the Church. We are proud to profess it in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.”

The timeless truths of the Bible, as explained in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, are our faithful standards for orthodoxy, orthopraxy, and orthopathy.

  • Orthodoxy is righteous worship and thus right belief. Our doctrines celebrate the truth of God’s teaching, revealed to us in both Scripture and Tradition.
  • Orthopraxy is righteous living according to Gospel values. We are called to go beyond goodness to holiness and perfection after the example of Christ.
  • Orthopathy is a righteous heart that has been transformed by Christ. With the Holy Spirit dwelling in our hearts, we are already living a heavenly life.
When we have made a personal commitment of our lives to Jesus Christ, in the community of his church, our lives are changed forever by the Spirit within us.

Restoration: Reclaiming our tradition connects us with Catholic Christians of every time and place. While traditionalism is the dead faith of the living, tradition is the living faith of the dead, that is, of all who have gone before us in faith. Let us restore the continuity of our faith down to our own day.

Revival: Reclaiming the core gospel message rebuilds the only foundation on which our faith communities can flourish. Anything else is just a house built on sand, that cannot weather the storms of time and the passing ideologies of outward unbelief and internal dysfunction.

Renewal: Reclaiming the faith delivered once for all to the saints (Jude 3) transforms the church, for this is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Repent and believe in the gospel (Mark 1:15). The church must become the change that it seeks to bring about in the world.

Transfiguration: Reclaiming our religious faith changes our perspectives on life. We see  worldly problems as opportunities for interior conversion.

Transformation: Reclaiming our spiritual legacy means that our lives will never be the same again. This is the only change that is truly for the better.

Transportation: Reclaiming our religious heritage brings us to a better place in our lives. It helps us make our world a much better place as well.

Heroic Virtue is at the core of our  pursuit of holiness and perfection by the prompting of the Holy Spirit within us. Please click here for more information.

As Catholic Christian believers, we need to reclaim the gospel narrative of our faith, as revealed in the Bible, and as explained in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The more that we know our faith, the more we will love our faith, and then the better we will share our faith with others. Remember to always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have (I Peter 3:15). Please click here for more information.
