Plan of Life

A “plan of life” is about our spiritual lifestyle as forgiven sinners who are on their way to sainthood. Smart goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely. If we are not planning for spiritual excellence with smart goals, we lack the wisdom that is from above, and we will be backsliding into irrelevance. Whether you are able to attend daily Mass or not, we should commune with God each day through prayer, learning and service as Catholic Christian disciples.

Morning: a fresh resolve to make the new day the best day of our life. Make a morning offering, pray the Rosary, meditate, and set noble realistic goals for the dawning day.

Midday: a break from our work to make a midcourse correction on the course of our day. Spiritual reading and reflection can recharge and redirect the labors of our day.

Afternoon: an opportunity to give thanks for our work and to embrace our bonds with family and friends. Gathering together in prayer, we also celebrate our oneness with God.

Evening: a time to give thanks to God for what we did right, sorrow for what we did wrong, and hope for a better tomorrow. Spiritual reading can calm us down for a good night’s rest.

From the outside, Christianity might seem to be about a lot of rules. But, from the inside, Christianity is really about the Ruler himself, Christ the Lord!
